COMMUNITY SERVICE

Served with Love (SWL), is a Circle of Friends Ltd’ signature community service project. It began on 14 February 2017 in lieu of Valentine’s Day for the elderly of Sikh Welfare Association and Lions Befrienders.

We were pleased with the outcome of the event and has since hosted it 2 to 3 times a month.

What happens in Served With Love?

For every SWL Project, participants are divided into three teams; cooking, baking and engaging.

The baking and cooking teams will be cooking up healthy and nutritious bento sets and baking some warm flavoured cupcakes at Allspice Institute alongside some professional Chefs. Concurrently, the engaging team will conduct games and activities at the nearby Senior Activity Centre as they await lunch or dinner to arrive.

WHO can participate in Served With Love?

We invite volunteers from all walks of life to support this event and count on the participation of youths in our community to spearhead this project.

In 2017, 18 SWL Events were held, transforming the lives of 1436 Beneficiaries.

We also work with Schools which the students may need to acquire their VIA/CIP hours. We work with different corporate organisations as well, be it just a team bonding experience or a company "volunteers" day.

“It is a heart-warming experience because I get to interact with the elderly and leave knowing I have done something I could, to make their day” - says Diana Joseph Peter, 24, volunteer of Circle of Friends.
